CLAUDIA PEGUS COLLECTION 

The first lady of Caribbean Fashions has done it again. On Friday June 24/2011 in the Nation’s Capital (Washington DC.) Claudia Pegus, known as the quintessential Caribbean designer and a producer of uncompromised indigenous design and flair, showcased her “Claudia Pegus Designs 2011 Collection. The models strutted the runway in sky high heels, structured shoulder, clean lines and stunning beaded and sequined silk evening wear. Claudia’s style is always elegant and never run of the mill, and at Caribbean Style & Culture she did not disappoint. Renown for her signature work in various types of silks, intricate hand embroideries and luxurious fabrications, she was definitively dynamic though diminutive, sassy and classy,  her runway presentation drew non-stop applauds from an audience of over three hundred.

Claudia  was presented with the Karib Nation’s “Award of Excellence” for her ongoing unparallel and remarkable contributions made in the Caribbean Fashion Industry to influence it’s growth and international recognition.
